Wii ©

Ya know, I was never a big nintendo guy after the N64. I just never got into the Gamecube, mostly because the controller was a piece of poop. However, just looking at the new console makes me want to start jumping on koopas again.

Out of the big three I will have to go with Nintendo on the looks. The console just looks dope to have chillin next to your mac mini, or rather my mini.

We all know that game titles are much to be desired on the "tendo" but lest we forget Zelda in all its glory and all the Mario titles.

Here's what grabs me...I'm cheap and it's cheap.

Or rather cheaper... @ $250 it's not wicked affordable however not even close to freakin PS 3 $600.

Plus you get two wireless controllers to start.

I think I will need to invest in this product for the sake fellowship, and the gathering together of the saints. Hebrews 11 baby.

Dirty Second Hands....Spoonman? ©

New Switchfoot song released today. I swear they are sounding like Soundgarden. I dunno why, but for some reason I am relating them to Black Hole Sun type of sound with this track.

Check it out and tell me if I am stuck in the 90's

Bit Torrent...is poop ©

I must say that I will give credit where credit is due. Shiloh showed me the ways of torrenting, and granted it seems like a killer idea with mucho upside. However, for the past couple of days I have been very dissappointed @ the interface and speed of acquisition.

I have tried basically every client there is, transmission, tomatoe, BT, etc. and they are all the same as far as speed of DL. I am literally downloading @ speeds of .1 kbps. Not 1, which is really poop school anyway, but .1. .1 PEOPLE! So uncool. I had made a statement about me being in the stone age using Prodigy on my Tandy whilst I play Wolfenstein 3-d, Duke Nukem, and other various Apogee games. I mean I am down with waiting ya know a couple hours for something, but to have something downloading for like weeks on end? In the words of our governor, "Do it, do it now...kill me, kill me now." "What are you wating for!"

I could probably build my own software in faster time than torrenting it. Did I say software? I meant torrenting "read me" files. Can't get enough of those.

Until next time, I leave you with a DOS encoded goodbye signature

Firefox kicks safari's rumpus ©

So yeah, I've downloaded firefox before. I thought it was cool but ya know whatever, kind of same ol browser if you ask me. That is until I found a plugin for it called "adblock plus."

Brothers, this is the money. Let's just say all the scantilly clad hooch-dom that appears on myspace...vaporized. My new found website the pirates bay...just seach results.

Yeah, you could say I like firefox.

Brick A Brack ©

Big post, pretty much solely for my friend Koby and other Brick fans. Saturday in San Clemente. I apologize as I just kind of had to remember the shots, and some of them aren't the best angles to match the film, and the one outside the auditorium talking was taken in the wrong place, but oh well...

I Am Complete Once More ©

I have a guitar once more. I finally sprung for this Ibanez, but instead of the Bubinga, I opted for the Ash body with the cutaway and the AE electronics. This baby comes with built in tuner, 1/4 inch and direct outputs, and EQ. Pardon the picture though. The stock photo can make this guitar look rather "fairy-ish" But that's only becaue it makes the wood look light, like something "jewel" or Melissa Etheridge" would play. The guitar itself is actually much darker, and looks like something, Arnold Shwartzenegger, or Sly Stallone would play. But it has been good building up my calices all afternoon, I haven't oned a guit-fiddle in about a year and a half. Freaking college tuition...

That is all for now.

Tablet Time ©

I have finally given in to temptation and purchased a tablet yesterday.

I figured if I am going to be doing some graphic work, I might as well have all the tools. I got a Wacom Graphire 4. And let me just say, VERY cool. However, the learning curve is pretty big. I am still working through some stuff and how to use it the best. But I dig it.

On a lighter note, Office Season 2 has brought me mucho enjoyment.

Han Shoots First ©

It has finally come.

The original trilogy in all it's glory. As for George Lucas...."...I may not like it baht."

Lucas has been a punk all these years about the true Star Wars Trilogy. Even now we can't buy it withou the other poopy redid versions. I am stoked.

Also on today's DVD buy pile we have "The Office: Season 2" and "Smallvile: Season 5"

I shall be busy these nights.

Mini Me ©

The day of reckoning has arrrived.

I have gone ahead and done us all in. Pretty soon you will hear trumpets sound, seals breaking, water turning to blood, and Steve Jobs rising from his European background only to have us implant ipods in to our heads and hands.

I went and bought a MacMini yesterday.

My immdiate question was why?

Well. it's two fold.

1) I am going to be taking some graphic design courses to get a degree and figured I had to have at least something resembeling a Mac to be in tune with the industry.

2) The MacMini is like weed. It's probably the gateway drug to all other Mac paraphernalia. I'm sure I will be paying $100 for a mouse with one button in the future. Why? Because I became an addict with the Mini. Next thing you'll know I will be battling myself over whether I should get dualing 20"s or one 23"...;) (you will understand that if you read the futon.)

Alas, so far so good. I just need some software for this thing.
