Sharks Eat Ducks For Dinner

I was at the game last night. Probably the best hockey game I have ever been to. With the Sharks down 2-0 after the end of the first period, and the Pacific title at stake, they rallied back in the 2nd and scored two goals to equalize it. The closing minutes of the game and overtime were quite simply, insane. Lots of breakaways, sliding skate saves, fights, and powerplays, but the Sharks held on to make it to a shootout.

Ducks chose to go first and boom, 1 goal.

Then Cheechoo squared it up ith his wrister.

Big Stick Selane totally lost the handle on his shot. Maybe he's not used to legal size blades...

Clowe comes through with backhand goal #2.

It's all up to McDonald for the Ducks....and....whiff!

So awesome to close out the last Ducks home game on their fan appreciation night and school them up.
