We Believe

Holy Schnikes.

Pretty much more than half my life has been cloaked in failure when in comes to the National Basketball Association. The Warriors have been the laughing stock of the league for the past 14 years and have continually grown stars only to trade them away or let them go in free agency. Basically the Washingtons Wizards are a Warriors team of a couple years ago with Arenas and Jamison (both All Stars).

Our day has finally come. With Nellie back and the monster trade of the season in place, the Warriors have finally built a team of young yet talented players that have heart and a passion to turn around the franchise.

A classic David and Goliath tale when it comes to match ups. the 8th seed versus the 1 seed. The team that barely crawled in to the playoffs on the last day of the season and the giant that held the best record and secured a playoff spot 2 months before the season ended.

I wouldn't say 14 years of failure made last night worth the wait, but I will say that it was one of the best playoffs series I have ever seen and to win it at home in slaughtering fashion was a sweet appetizer for the full course that are the playoffs.

In my opinion, our chances are amazing. Houston/Utah in the second round? Both teams are playing horrible right now and we are on fire.

In short, I'm stoked.

Lastly, Charles Barkley is a complete tool. I can't believe he gets paid to sit there and just complain all night long. He's not in my five, and I hope he lost a grip of money betting against the Warriors!
