Intertestamental period.....

I say that with much jest as my writings are nothing close to "testamental."

Anyway, not that anybody checks this blog with regularity, but the year o' silence will soon be broken.

Many have given me flack for the utter lack of attention given to our life as chronicled in the digital world, and to those people, I give commendation. I commend the persistence of urging new and thought out content for your mind's hunger. I commend your curiosity as to the life and times of the people's Pun. Lastly, I commend your vigorous attitude to continue to check our blog even though looking at Rusty in a Giants uniform for the past year has left you callused and jaded.

It is then with great pleasure that I write this teaser trailer of sorts. To inform the readers that soon, very soon, a new and improved interface will be launched...

Toad.

Tonight I finally got to see one of my favorite bands in concert, all be it a co-headlining concert, an hour long concert none the less. I have been a fan of Toad since high school and unfortunately right when I started having money to go to concerts they broke up. So I had to rest in best compilations and one live cd to console me for 10 years.

Then I found out they were going to be at the OC FAIR and immediately told Becky we were going. The set had alot of goodies with some of my favorites left out, but they sounded great. This was their first concert in over a year and I didn't notice one thing off.

For those of you that have not had the pleasure of hearing Toad might I suggest the album P.S. to get you started. "It's so choice, if you have the means, I highly reccommend picking one up."

The next concert we are going to is MAE in August. Until then...Joe-out

Bundle of Joy

Becky and I have been blessed with one of the most awesome dogs on the planet.

We Shall Call Him.....Rusty.

I actually thought of a way cooler name after we chose Rusty and unfortunately we had already been calling him that non-stop it didn't make sense to change it. (I thought about naming him "Indiana"...Only a true scholar would know why that name is so awesome).

If you think of it, you could pray for us and him as he actually is pretty sick right now, we are going to the vet Monday morning.

La Policia!

Dudes, I had the esteemed priviledge of attending The Police concert last night. Let me just say that after 24 years of hiatus they played together as if it was 1985. It was simply amazing. They played all the hits, and had some really cool improvisation on alot of the tunes. I've seen Sting live before and he played some Police songs, but dude nothing like the original power trio.

Because I was never old enough to ever see them play live, this is possibly one of the best concerts I have ever been to. If they are coming to your town, I highly recommend picking up some tickets.

Roomba-D2

So I was recently given a Roomba as a wedding gift. It was pretty dope after I cleaned it out. I mean it's my own personal little droid.

We had ourselves a veritable R2-D2! but he didn't really look like him. How could I fix that?
